The mission of the Nevada State Board of cosmetology is to protect the public health, safety and welfare through insuring only qualified persons are granted licenses to perform cosmetology in the State of Nevada and that all areas where cosmetology services are provided are kept clean, sanitary and safe (NRS 644 & NAC 644)
